Located in Huntingdon Valley, an affluent northern suburb of Philadelphia, Philmont Country Club is a private country club that boasts two 18-hole golf courses, Har-Tru outdoor tennis courts, and an Olympic sized swimming pool in addition to the lifestyle afforded by membership of a country club. In an effort to recapitalize the club, Philmont Country Club was acquired by Concert Golf Partners in March 2017. Upon acquisition, Ridgewood and Concert teamed up to redevelop a portion of the golf course. While the property was zoned for residential housing, Ridgewood was able to increase the allowable density by rezoning the 18-hole South golf course. All municipal approvals have been achieved for 176 active adult townhomes, which will be integrated into the country club through internal roadway access to the clubhouse and other club amenities.
